2. How does a PGx test work?

The test involves a simple at-home saliva sample collection, , which is sent to our UK registered partner labs for analysis.

3. Is the PGx test safe?

Yes, the PGx test is completely safe. The test only examines specific genes related to drug metabolism and does not provide any information about other aspects of your health.

4. Do I need a doctor’s prescription to take the PGx test?

No, a prescription is not required to take the test. The test is for non-diagnostic use only. We recommend discussing any results with a healthcare provider before making any changes to your medication plan.

5. How will I know when my test kit is coming?

You will receive and email notification and tracking number when your test kit is shipped.

6. How long does it take to get results?

Typically, you’ll receive your results within 7-10 business days after we receive your sample. You’ll be notified via email once your results are ready to view in your secure online portal.

7. What is the Insights platform?

Your results will be presented on the insights platform, where you will be able to view your personalised results for information only.

8. Is my personal information and DNA safe?

We take your privacy seriously. All data is encrypted and stored securely. Your DNA sample is destroyed after the test is successfully processed and personal information are never shared with third parties without your consent. We are GDPR compliant.

9. Is the PGx test available internationally?

Currently, the tests are only available in the UK. Please check our website for the latest information on availability in your country.
